FocusFlow — Privacy Policy

FocusFlow (referred to as "we", "us", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection, usage, and permissions for the FocusFlow mobile application.

1. No Data Collection or Transmission

FocusFlow is built with privacy as a core principle:

Local Storage Only: All of your task lists, task details, categories, and settings are stored locally on your device (using an encrypted/secured local database).
No Internet Access: The App does not declare the INTERNET permission in its manifest. As a result, it is technically impossible for the App to transmit your data, track your activity, or upload your personal information to any external server or third party.
No Third-Party SDKs: We do not use third-party analytics (like Google Analytics, Firebase SDKs) or advertising networks.

2. Voice Input Feature

FocusFlow includes a voice-to-text task entry feature:

This feature uses your device's built-in system SpeechRecognizer API.
FocusFlow does not record, store, or transmit your audio/voice recordings. Audio processing is handled entirely by your Android system, and the App only receives the resulting text output to create your task.

3. Permissions Used

To function correctly, the App requests specific system permissions. Here is what they are used for:

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to display task reminders and alarm notifications.
Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM & USE_EXACT_ALARM): Used to trigger your task reminders at the exact time you schedule them, even if the device is in idle/doze mode.
Full Screen Intent (USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT): Used to display high-priority alarm-style reminders on your lock screen so you don't miss important timed tasks.
Reboot Rescheduling (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to restore and reschedule your active alarms and reminders when your device is restarted.
Vibration (VIBRATE): Used to vibrate the device to alert you when a task alarm goes off.

4. Children’s Privacy

FocusFlow does not collect any personal information. It is safe for use by individuals of all ages, including children under the age of 13.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since the App has no internet connection, updates to this policy will be bundled with App updates on the Google Play Store. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
